WHO IS MARCIA HALL?
Marcia Hall, The Reputation Pro, is the founder and principal of Reputation Counts. She is a speaker, trainer, and award-winning author of Navigating Newbie-ism: 12 Simple Ways to Thrive in Your First Job and Career, The College Student's Guide. Her latest book is Jumpstart Your Job: 12 Simple Ways to Shift Your Career into High Gear.
Marcia was an executive director of a chamber of commerce for 11 years and has extensive contacts with hundreds of businesses and industries. She writes a monthly business column about the importance of appropriate workplace behavior called "Soft Skills at Work" for the Capital/Gazette Newspapers in Annapolis, Maryland. Marcia is also an adjunct faculty member at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland.
A certified Contacts Count trainer, Marcia trains students, young professionals and businesspeople how to build their reputations through the art of networking, by making good first impressions, and demonstrating desired personal attributes. Contacts Count is a nationwide training company helping people learn the art of networking. Marcia has also received the CTM (Competent Toastmaster) award from Toastmasters International.
Marcia Hall is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in Industry and Finance, and Who's Who of American Women. She is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber and received the President's Award in recognition of her generous contributions to the organization. Marcia was also honored by Toastmasters International when she received the District 36 Toastmasters Communication and Leadership Award.
Active in the community, Marcia is the Chair of the Steering Committee for The CONNECT! Coalition, which is a group of organizations in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, promoting the connection of soft skills to workplace success.
